我姐我妹都已身為人母。以她們極偉大而非人的生活形態看來，睡到自然醒這等奢侈行為，絕對已成為一種空泛而遙不可及的夢。我不知道自己是否有一天也會踏上那樣一條不歸路；哈，無論如何我都警戒自己把握現在，一有機會一定要大睡到賴床也賴不下去的地步。

於是，留在新加坡的星期六，起床后，一般是直接來個早午餐、甚至是午餐。如此慵懶的星期六倒也不是常有，但我每每都來把握一下。

剛睡醒的胃不想裝進大油大辣。來一點清新又滿足的，讓一整天都快樂。這天我步行在Ann Siang Hill安詳山的悠然自得里，便停在了PS Cafe。陽光和綠葉先是伴隨腳步，最後也落在碟子中。星期六就該如此清新。

我也不知道Cafe里的是什麽歐陸或英殖民或Fusion風情。反正就是吃一些寫意，再呼吸一點氛圍。超好吃的Big Nihon Salad 加上一杯拿鐵。太開心。

Kith Cafe @ Robertson Quay. 橋底邊

Kith Cafe，大家第一印象大概是Park Mall的分店。那裡總是人潮。但我挺喜歡Kith的另一間小店——在Robertson Quay。設在轉角、在橋底邊，有一種簡約而實在的早午餐情調。我和Y到這裡，他照舊他的Latte，我仍舊我的Hot Chocolate。聞著星期六休閒的陽光參半清新小雨后的味道、喝著濃淡適中的咖啡香、嚼一嚼多穀麵包搭配卡津烤雞的三明治。這樣的週末早午餐，給人一種悠哉閑哉的生活質感——縱然休閒週末稍縱即逝 :)

Common Man Coffee Roasters. 香咖啡+有機雞蛋

吃著、喝著、聊著、寫著放空，是生活的重節奏中一點必需的懶散；是總得要一點無所事事來調劑。

我不相信及時行樂，但相信實實在在地活在當下。人得在被給予的職分崗位上盡心盡意，否則我們看不到生命的價值。然而壓力大了，一些悠哉安靜的時間是一種可以復原心情的解碼器。

我一貫“鞠躬盡瘁”地投身，又享受完全抽離的清逸。我習慣這樣的矛盾來點綴一下日子的美。所以我總找時間小不羈地悠閒一下，它們有助深邃地勾勒出生活歷練背後的美意。

這是一個這樣的時間；和家人一起。清爽的心，在人氣滿溢的咖啡座。Common Man Coffee Roasters，這裡有一種輕快的熙來攘往......

...... 和很漂亮的拉花。

CMCR是本地40 Hands和澳洲咖啡烘焙專家5 Senses的聯合出品，炮製高品質的咖啡豆和烘焙技術。但最懂表面欣賞的我，最愛的還是拉花。

River Valley一帶，CMCR雖不在河邊，但還是夾帶一點河畔的空氣。再摻絆一點文化的雜燴，這裡流露些些外國風情。

CMCR另一主打的大概是有機雞蛋。我於是點了Eggs Benedict“班尼迪克蛋”——我是蠻愛Poached Egg水煮嫩蛋的。別於一般放在鬆餅上的Eggs Benedict，CMCR用了Sourdough酸麵包。是硬有嚼勁了點，但Sourdough一般是天然酵母菌長時間發酵而成——這大概是他們的心思吧。 搭配的也不是火腿煙肉而是燉嫩牛肉，再加上Chive Hollandaise洋蔥荷蘭醬。對我來說實在是新鮮的早午餐組合。

大姐、姐夫點了 Common Man Full Breakfast，看起來確實很滿 :)

吃著喝著的笑和寫意中，空掉了咖啡杯，完成了一個早上的悠閒。

和小Darling Ethan一起，一切格外有趣。

Butter Studio. An Offbeat Cafe at Jalan Besar

I think this is a place with its unique charm, an offbeat surprise along Jalan Besar. In the midst of the row of old shop houses, sandwiched between a car tyre shop and a kopitiam, its bright brand colour of yellow strikingly stands out.



I enjoyed so much and so liked it that there was no squeeze --- a hushed atmosphere with soft music in the background. You can either be engrossed in a tranquil book reading, or chilled and relaxed in friendly chit-chat.




All the homemade cakes and pastries of Butter Studio are freshly baked daily. I was there just for a tea. So I had only a Raspberry Velvet Cupcake which went well with the Orange Blossom organic tea! Ha... and I concluded that my own handmade cupcakes actually do have a very similar standard. Well... it means that Butter Studio has very nice cupcakes. Ha >~<







I even got a Egg and Ham Breakfast Toast Cup that was on the house. That was definitely a warm touch. It tasted divine with the toasted sunny-side-up. I will come back for this one :)

Temporium. A Pop-Up Store in Little India

Temporium is more than just a cafe :) Here is a charming blend of store, diner and gallery in the quaint, nostalgic, ethnic Little India. Fashion, books, coffee, tea, exhibition and workshops are all under one roof.



I was there in an overcast morning where the street had not transformed into its bustling scene. The scent of the air was perfect for a cuppa. I liked the interesting collision between the laid-back attitude and the ingenious contemporary mix of the different elements in Temporium: the aromatic coffee brews, chic fashion, stylish ceramic wares on wooden tray, the tranquility of books and the casualness of free seating.




What a cozy, relaxing experience. Croissant and the half-boiled egg were not perfect. Yet the coffee was enticing enough to compensate for everything else.








A 3-'Cs' collaboration of coffee, ceramics and cuisine by Papa Palheta, Weekend Worker and Wild Rocket, respectively, indeed makes the cup of coffee an interestingly sensuous and tactile one.

Jewel Cafe + Bar. 星期六的陽光寫意咖啡

星期六早上，悠哉閑哉地來個Brunch早午餐，是一種刻意而略帶瀟灑的閒情逸致的流露。



Jewel Cafe + Bar，在我們抵達的那種非典型、半天吊時間點，人不多。我最享受這種氣氛。閣樓上坐個半滿；我抬頭望上去，隱約看到一些屬於假日的談笑風生。我們坐的一樓，有人氣溫暖得卻暫時還沒有逼擠的人潮。我愛這個時間的這個地方。




我重申，我不怎麼喝咖啡。太強勢的咖啡因會讓我有種腦袋浮沉的感覺。所以我愛用心為熱可可也拉上花的咖啡座。




這裡的冰咖啡應該是一絕。我喝上幾口還是挺順的。滲出一種我沒有嘗過的咖啡香，再帶點令人好奇的酸。



我們的早午餐是Meatball Sandwich。烤香的Baguette真的堪稱硬得不得了。嚼勁十足，讓我星期六一早上顎、下巴竟都做了不錯的伸展運動。




這是一個讓你想大口呼吸陽光和咖啡香的星期六早上。呼一口悠哉、吸一口滿足。
